The journey kicks off with an Orientation, during which students receive essential learning materials, including a tablet, setting the stage for a dynamic learning experience. During Week 1, students immerse themselves in a robust environment, seamlessly blending classroom and hands-on learning. This phase focuses on mastering the Theory-Based Federal Curriculum. Weeks 2, 3, and 4 transition to pre-trips, road, and backing. Students are exposed to Hours of Service requirements and map reading. The culmination of their training involves mastering all skills acquired over the four weeks. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to undergo the State of Nebraska Road Skills test.
